I cannot even describe how much easier and more enjoyable The Back-up Anchor has made my fishing excursions. I purchased a small anchor for each of my 2 inflatable pontoon boats because I got sick of fighting the wind while trying to do anything other than man the oars. These anchors are perfect as a Primary anchor for me as I pack my gear quite a ways over land to reach my fishing spot they are light weight and pack easily for longer treks but you still have the security of an anchor in case the wind doesn't cooperate and you want to retie or hit that sweet spot effectively. I would definitely recommend this as a must have for backpackers or just those looking to save weight and room in your gear.
